Fedora Core 6, a GNU/Linux distribution, was released on October 24th, after a week of delay from its scheduled release. Although predictions of few improvements compared to the last release proved to be correct, Fedora Core 6 arrived with a handful of refinements on the system’s performance and usability, and a polished new look.

Among others, new features include the possibility to run the system on Intel-based Macs.
