According to the British news magazine The Spectator Prince Charles is already considering the procedure of his eventual coronation. Charles plans to break with the six hundred year old tradition of coronation by introducing a second ceremony besides the traditional Westminster Abby process. The reasons for this would be to respect the diversity of religions in the UK and to communicate to the people that the Prince sees himself as the king of all the people in the UK, regardless of religion. The second ceremony would take place in nearby Westminster Hall and would feature representatives of Islam, Judaism, Buddhism and the Sikh religion.
