Homemade Gordon Banks is a poet, born in Great Wakering, Essex, England and lives in the 7th district in Vienna This is the third portrait of Vienna Faces, a series of drawings for The Vienna Review by artist Martin Huxter, winner of the John Moores Exhibition for Painting. Huxter has been living and working as an artist in Vienna since 1994. Faces is Huxter’s response to the people he encounters, and hopes to portray how Vienna is becoming increasingly cosmopolitan. At street level, faces can look very different from the ‘face’ presented by the media.
