Whether on a rooftop, a hilltop, or on the waters of the Danube river, Vienna offers plenty of scenic and convivial spots for one of Austria’s passions: ice-skating. At various places, you may also see hockey games, Bavarian curling (Eisstockschießen), or even dancing. Many rinks offer a few hours of disco skating, as well as special times for seniors and children. See individual websites for further details. Bring your own skates or rent them on site.
