Macedonian playwright Goran Stefanovski’s rendition of the classic Odyssey completed an initial run in Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia to rave reviews.

One of the largest co-productions ever arranged in the Balkans, its cast features actors and actresses from across the ex-Yugoslavia region, led by Croatian Ozren Grabarić in the role of Odysseus. Participating institutions include the Gavela Theatre in Zagreb, the Slovenian National Theatre in Maribor, Belgrade’s Atelje 212, and the Teatar na Navigatorot in Skopje.

Following runs in Maribor, Zagreb and Novi Sad, the production will tour Europe and see further performances in Belgrade, Brioni and Ljubljana between May and September, 2013.
