More Vienna Tourism

The City is looking forward to a busy holiday season. Vienna has seen 3.1 % more business trippers and vacationers from January to October 2013 as compared to 2012. Of the 4.8 million total overnighters, roughly 3.8 million traveled in from foreign countries, the main markets being Germany, the U.S., and Russia.

The largest group to visit Vienna was Austrians (1,023,289), 2.8 % more than in 2012.  According to Wien Tourismus there has been an annual trend of +2.5% in overnight stays in Vienna. October 2013 saw a staggering rise in visits, which were 8.6% higher than last year.
