Kurier Romy Film and TV Awards

The gala ceremony for the 24th annual ROMY Awards will be held this year on 20 April. The awards, in partnership with the Austrian daily Kurier, aim to support film and television professionals in the domestic industry and broaden the film and television landscape, giving awards in seven categories.

The Kurier ROMY is the only award in German-speaking Europe for which winners are chosen solely based on audience selection.

Each year, the ROMY platinum, is given for lifetime achievement. This year it will go to Armin Mueller-Stahl, long-time star of the international film industry.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on ORF 2 starting at 21:10.
