Radical Software

With the theme "Women, Art & Computing 1960-1991", the show examines the female contribution to the development of digital art from a feminist perspective. The focus is on the question of how female artists used computers as a tool or theme and which working methods demonstrated a proximity to computer-aided processes. The exhibition, which is largely analog, ranges widely and presents painting, sculpture, installation, film, performance and numerous computer-generated drawings and texts that were produced before the Internet.
