A stage version of the Austropop audio play and concept album of the same name for the eternal struggle of man with the mountain, degenerated from a subversive critique of folksy high mountain kitsch over the years to a thigh beater farce. In the early 1970s, Wolfgang Ambros, Joesi Prokopetz, and Manfred Tauchen had left out the "Rustical". Diving, the father of history, is divorced from the Watzmann team at some point in the conflict. His role as a "Gailtaler" has since been embodied by Klaus Eberhartinger of Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung, while Tauchen itself shows a smaller dimensioned "Watzmann" version in Munich. Now the Watzmann is to be climbed one last time; the dates are under the motto "the big farewell tour".
