"The Free Electric Band. "I'm a Train". "It Never Rains in Southern California." "Everything I Want to Do. He kept a few songs from his pen and turned them into hits himself. Most of them Albert Hammond wrote for other performers: "The Air That I Breathe" for example, sung by the Hollies, an absolute god number. Or "To All the Girls I've Loved Before", the unpackable duet of Willie Nelson and Julio Iglesias. For Whitney Houston and the Olympic Games 1988 the dramatic power ballad "One Moment in Time". "I Don't Wanna Lose You," Tina Turner. We're running out of space. On Saturday the softpop icon will perform these and other oldies on his "Songbook Tour" in Simmering.
