Norbert Schneider & Band

Norbert Schneider became known as a bluesman, his songs were still written in English at that time. With the album "Schau ma mal" the singer, guitarist and songwriter discovered his own language in its dialect version, Wienerlied and Austropop were the inspiration. Relevant material was covered, whereby Schneider also left out kitsch and clichés in his atmospherically arranged original compositions. On the occasion of his 70th birthday in 2016, the musician bowed to Georg Danzer (1946-2007) with the album "Neuaufnahme"; on "So wie's ist", Schneider 2018 again presented new dialect songs of his own, varied, lively and generously equipped with wind instruments.
