Mynth

Under the name Mynth, the twin siblings Giovanna and Mario Fartacek, who grew up in Salzburg, then moved to Vienna and somehow also had a suitcase in Berlin, have been ploughing the popular grey area between indie pop and sometimes staring at its toes, then again gently nudging towards the dance floor since the end of 2014. The melancholy is a constant companion, though Mynth don't just see the world in grey, they definitely see it in colour. "Shades I Mynth," the duo's third long-format effort, is out in the fall of 2020. "A great pop album that falls somewhere between David Bowie, Kate Bush and Fleetwood Mac," the record label's accompanying letter states, not entirely immodestly.
