Die Wiener in China

This profound exhibition traces the flight of Jewish Viennese families to Shanghai and takes visitors to the "Little Vienna" quarter that emerged there with the opening of cafés, concert venues, Heurigen and sausage stands. On display are mementos, documents, photographs and film footage, as well as objects that marked the increasingly deteriorating life in Shanghai. The show also addresses the return to Austria.
