Simply Quartet

The Simply Quartet is one of the most promising string quartets of the new generation and is made up of musicians from three different nations. Danfeng Shen (violin) and Xiang Lu (viola) come from China, cellist Ivan Valentin Hollup Roald from Norway and violinist Antonia Rankersberger from Austria. This year the Simply Quartet is one of the selected ensembles of the ECHO Rising Stars series. The program ranges from early classical works to modern string quartet literature.
