Thomas Andreas Beck

The Viennese singer-songwriter, poet and author Thomas Andreas Beck was born in 1968, so he is already quite a bit over 50, but he still sounds a bit like the young André Heller. An earthy Heller without orchestra, poetry and the exuberant energy of megalomania, of course. Atmospherically reduced by musician and producer Thomas Pronai, Beck sings eight songs on his fifth album "Alles brennt", released in early 2021, under the impression of the pandemic and the refugee misery on Lesbos; he addresses social issues just as appealingly as personal ones. The live realization takes place in a trio with Pronai on guitar and Georg Allacher on keyboard.
