Ensemble Ultreia, Gaetano Lo Coco

In the midst of the crisis, the ensemble Ultreia is founded. With the word "Ultreia" pilgrims encourage themselves on the journey to Santiago de Compostela. It means: "Forward! Be brave! Go on!". In their debut concert, they perform Richard Wagner's "Siegfried Idyll" with the original chamber instrumentation. Mahler's Symphony No. 4 will be heard for the first time in Vienna in the arrangement for chamber orchestra by the English composer Iain Farrington. In the final movement, in the song "Das himmlische Leben", Johanna Wallroth, member of the Opera Studio of the Vienna State Opera, sings.
