Zodiac - Die Spur des Killers
A journalist, a cartoonist and two policemen hunt for a serial killer who leaves a bloody trail in California in the late sixties and seventies until they more or less break themselves on the case. "The murders and puzzling ciphers that the killer (incidentally, also the model for the 'Scorpio' killer from 'Dirty Harry') feeds to newspapers for publication provide less suspense than the eerie standstill as the hunters tread water for years" (Michael Pekler).
