O Brother, Where Art Thou?

Loosely based on Homer: an odyssey through the Depression-era American South. Instead of the odyssey at sea, three convicts flee here across the state of Mississippi. The verses - or rather verses - take place as blues, gospel and bluegrass numbers along the way. The rest is mostly parodic fun banter: Clooney's character goes by the speaking name Everett Ulysses McGill. Cyclops finds himself as a one-eyed Bible salesman. And the sirens wash laundry in the river while singing.
