Rise and Shine
Aysha, Khawla and Rehab are the focus of this surprising little documentary: They are plumbers in Jordan, one of the driest countries in the world. Aysha has to bring up her children on her own after the death of her husband - and has been their close friend since she started the relevant training in Khawla's NGO. But while Aysha plans to start her own business, Khawla, the country's self-proclaimed first female plumber, comes under suspicion of corruption. The women's friendship is put to a severe test.
