Every year, the World Economic Forum takes place in Davos, Switzerland. The documentary begins at the moment when the small ski resort is once again transformed into the world headquarters of wealth and political ostentation. This is contrasted with farmers, hotel staff, young asylum seekers, social workers - as well as demonstrations and gestures of resistance that unfold in the village. Davos" derives considerable charm from the difference between an idyllic climatic health resort and a totally secure hotspot of global economic activity.
