An environmental thriller. The non-profit organization Environmental Investigation Agency, or EIA for short, is on the trail of the machinations of the illegal international timber trade. "For their investigative documentary, the filmmakers accompanied environmental activist Alexander von Bismarck and his allies: to Siberia and China, Peru and Romania, where the Austrian company Schweighofer, according to the film, is clear-cutting the last remaining virgin forest in collaboration with corrupt authorities.
