Israeli Shira and German Maria are deeply in love and eventually even want to get married. Their different backgrounds don't make this easy, as becomes apparent when the parents from Stuttgart meet the mixed crowd in Jerusalem. Shira's grandmother Berta, in particular, is against the idea, even though she herself is secretly involved with a Palestinian. Turbulent culture clash comedy about love, prejudices and slightly crazy families.
