In her new, once again autobiographical film, director and actress Bruni Tedeschi recalls her time as a student with directorial guru Patrice Chéreau at the drama school of the Théâtre des Amandiers in Nanterre. It's the early 1980s: her alter ego Stella (great: Nadia Tereszkiewicz) and other young actors take the entrance exam, devote themselves to their professional passion, experience love, happiness and - in a time of AIDS and excessive drug use - challenging moments.
