O trio em mi bemol

Viennale
In 1988, French film and theater director Éric Rohmer wrote his only play, "Le Trio en mi bémol" ("The Trio in E-flat Major"): a screwball comedy in slow motion around the flirtation of an ex-couple in love with music, in which the title composition, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Kegelstatt Trio," plays an important role. Azevedo Gomes now does not stage a remake, but varies Rohmer's themes in a film-within-a-film: her work alternates between the reality of the two-person play and that of a film director and his team who film the piece.
