Beautiful country inn with ambitious, very good seasonal cuisine, e.g. a well-balanced, not too opulent Mostschaumsuppe with Schwarzbrotkrusterln or a tender chicken fillet wrapped in Vulcano ham with sensational truffle polenta and zucchini; good wine selection with a focus on eastern Styria, lots of apple cider (e.g. from Maschanzker). Child-friendly family hotel with appropriate offer. Competent service. Stadl to be reserved for events. The inn is part of a three-cornered farm with a magnificent garden for 50 people and a good dozen guest rooms.
